Happy Easter
We had a great Easter Weekend full of fun. On Saturday we went to an Easter Brunch at the Phoenix Zoo. Saturday evening we colored eggs. Brady did a great job letting them set in the dye but was tempted by the shape of the egg to throw it like a ball. He also enjoyed playing in the dye. Sunday he went on an egg hunt around the house in search of all the eggs left by the Easter Bunny! He was so excited and looking very careful so that he didn't miss any. Sunday afternoon we went to Easter dinner at Grandpa Ray and Grandma Char's. The Easter Bunny had also visted their place and left something for Brady.

The Ostrich Festival
We decided to check out the Chandler Ostrich Festival on Sunday since the weather was so beautiful. The have carnival rides and games, entertainment, Ostrich and Pig races, a petting zoo, pony rides and tons of food. We had a great time and Brady was adventurous and went for a pony ride and feed the goats at the petting zoo. The best part was the name of the pig racing company was called Hambone Express, which is Mike's nickname for Brady.

Christmas
We had a great Christmas with lots of family in town to spend it with. First Dad's brother Steve came with Aunt Brenda and cousins Adam and Zach. Brady had a great time with his cousins and acted like he was one of the boys. He made a Gingerbread Train and went to Christmas Eve Service. It was quite the entertain at church clapping and congratulting the choir after songs and then making sure everyone knew during the candle light portion that candles were "hot" and "owiee". Christmas morning he was excited to see all the presents Santa brought and placed under the tree and didn't waste any time getting started with unwrapping.
Christmas dinner was at our house this year and we had a full house. The company and food were wonderful and everyone had a great time. We had 17 of Dad's family to share the day with.
After Christmas Mom's family came and we got to spend New Years together. Brady made pizza's for dinner one night with Grandma, we went to the Railroad Park to ride the train and see the Christmas lights. We also had time to go to the zoo and the weather was beautiful that day. All in all it was a great Holiday and we felt blessed to spend it with our family.
